Our receptionists will ask you a few questions so they can direct you to the most appropriate service. This is to make sure you receive the right care, as not all problems require a GP appointment.

Home visits

Our urgent home visits are conducted by our acute home visiting team who can visit patients in their homes on the day as clinically required.

We have nurses that can do home visits for disease reviews, bloods, etc. If you need a clinician to visit you this can be arranged in advance using the online form below.

We’ll review your answers during practice hours and contact you to make sure you get the right help.

This could be

  • self-care advice
  • a follow-up phone call
  • an in-person appointment

We provide evening and weekend appointments outside of our normal opening hours. These can be booked by the surgery or by calling 111.

Extended access appointments may be at a different location.

NHS 111 can help if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do. To get help:

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Medical emergencies can include:

  • loss of consciousness
  • an acute confused state
  • fits that are not stopping
  • chest pain
  • breathing difficulties
  • severe bleeding that cannot be stopped
  • severe allergic reactions
  • severe burns or scalds
